ABOUT ME

I'm undergraduate student from Hong Kong, studying Chinese language and Literature. Currently, I study in university of Manchester as an exchange student.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy as a way of life:

I try very hard to be a man who has a good understanding of life and himself, and be able to make every decision of life with clear consideration of moral judgment and life choices. haha, just don't want to regret or to be selfish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a beginner in CS

My friend and I plan to travel around Europe this summer, he loves CS which brings him lots of unforgettable experiences in traveling. Guess what, He talks about CS experience more than the tourist places he has been to. =]

So we decide to make our trip a CS one, meeting different people and sharing what we have with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Nature is the creation of God.
Art and Culture are the creation of human beings

One of my lifelong goals is to learn to appreciate the beauty of art.
YES! I'm crazy about culture in all forms, from literature to musicals and contemporary art. Since I study Chinese language and Literature (in a contemporary context mixing the east and the west) , I have the golden opportunity to explore different literature theories, from Chinese philosophy of beauty to Roland Barthes' structuralism. With this general understanding of art theory, I could get an in-depth understanding of different art forms and analysis.

In order to enrich my understanding and enjoyment of music, I learnt Chinese musical instrument Er Hu in secondary school and performed in local ceremonies and celebrations from time to time. I also write Poems (mainly Chinese Poems) for fds and myself.

I consider myself super lucky that I can spend one semester in Europe, learning and traveling!

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone can be the teacher of others. Do listen and learn with sincerity!
