About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Would be great if I didn't need sleep.

ABOUT ME

If I could grow some gills that would be perfect.

PHILOSOPHY

Fear nothing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm gonna try hosting cos it's like traveling when you can't. But I live with my parents.... so we'll see.

Interests

I like baby hedgehogs. Recently, I also fell in love with the spotted box pufferfish. *AW* As an Aries, a need for adventure is in my blood. I enjoy hiking and taking long walks. I grew up in a city so I very much prefer mountains or sunflower fields over concrete. I am quite a history buff so I enjoy exploring old cities. I am not a morning person so dusk over dawn anytime. Not a huge fan of clubs/parties though, but I really like chilling in pubs with great music talking about life or whatever comes to my mind. I like the sound of rain and smell of wet grass after it rains. My favourite fruits are tropical -lychee, longan, but keep that durian away from me! I love sports, watching or playing, so throw me a ball anytime (although I may not be so good at it, but I will try). OH, did I also mention I'm a huge F1 fan? Go kimi!

Music, Movies, and Books

I do like reading, and I read just about anything. Recently I've been hooked onto books by Michael Crichton as well as non-fiction. I grew up with Harry Potter so I must have read it at least 7 times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is pretty damn amazing on its own.

Teach, Learn, Share

This part here used to read: "I can't cook (besides eggs and instant noodles)...". But after I lived on my own for more than 6 months in Europe, where eating out is draining my traveling-funds dry (visit Asia and you'll know why I didn't use to cook), I am now quite proud of my culinary skills. Disclaimer: it is fairly basic. Like fried rice with egg, or soup with soy sauce. So while I'm still new to cooking, I would love it if I could learn new local recipes!

If you want I could teach you mandarin or how to swear in hokkien (dialect of mandarin). Always fun. ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always interested to hear about what it's like to grow up in a totally different world, so if you're interested in that as well, I'll share mine with you! Otherwise, some beers would be great too.
