I'm from the Boston, MA area, born and raised in Massachusetts. I first started traveling as a Junior in High School with my first trip to Italy. It was amazing and since then have been extremely fortunate enough to travel to Singapore and Thailand to visit my sister while she lived over there as well as travel throughout Europe for almost a month with two close friends. I've been able to see a lot but what I enjoy most is the day to day culture you are able to experience while visiting someone who is local to the area.

I traveled to Kenya alone not knowing anyone there and stayed with a man who I had only talked with through email. I now consider this man a friend and I could not have asked for a better host to share his culture with me. He was kind enough to host me in Nairobi and then I also went to Maasai Mara to go on Safari. It was an incredible experience and it was also my first time traveling solo.
