My current mission is to explore as much as possible!! I am always looking to get off the beaten track and encounter new places, people, cultures, and experiences.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in the north of Ireland. Surrounded by the great outdoors, I have had that desire instilled in me to always want to see what's over the next literal and figurative horizon. Recent graduate from the university of Edinburgh, where I majored in Environmental Geoscience. I am currently travelling in the Caucasus region, attempting to hitchhike my way around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In general, while a place may be characterized by its amazing scenery, beautiful cities and buildings, or a unique culture, the very essence or soul of a place is embodied most by the local people of that place. Couchsurfing offers an opportunity to meet these people and therefore truly understand the essence of a country, by understanding those that give life to that country.

I'm general I enjoy anything that tells a good story by any medium. Favourite book: Brave New World. Favourite film(s): Indiana Jones original trilogy. Music: enjoy a wide range of blues, rock, jazz, folk, acoustic, traditional, and world music.
