As a history teacher, I believe it is important to use my summers to explore the world that I spend nine months of the year teaching about. I have already traveled extensively over the last 8 years, and plan on continuing to do so the rest of my life. I love meeting new people, seeing new sights and trying new foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I traveled through Israel, I Couchsurfed with a buddy and met so many incredible, fun people, that I don't want travel any other way now. I hope my experience in Italy and Greece may be the same this summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music ranges between Radiohead, Bon Iver, Lecrae and Run the Jewels. For Shows, The Wire and Breaking Bad were my tops the last few years. I'm all about Dramas/Action. A Separation, Looper, The Edge of Tommorrow, and Avatar were some of my favorites. Books: Middlesex, Lonesome Dove, Poisonwood Bible...
