About Me

I'm 26 years old and I just graduated from University with a master's degree in Computer Science. As I haven't seen too much of the world yet, I decided to travel around South East Asia for some months before I start spending the rest of my life in front of a computer, programming boring code, eating Pizza and drinking Coke (Isn't that what you're thinking of when you hear someone is a programmer? 😉). I started traveling in July and I've already visited Peninsula Malaysia 🇲🇾 , Singapore 🇸🇬 , Indonesia 🇮🇩, Malaysian Borneo 🇲🇾 and now I'm on the Philippines 🇵🇭. On my bus to Bantayan Island I've met a nice couple from Poland who told me about Couchsurfing and now I am super excited to try it myself! :)

I would describe myself as outgoing, polite, reliable, funny, smart and handsome. As you might have noticed I'm also very modest and not arrogant at all! 😂😉

I'm looking very much forward to meeting a lot of great people here! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about couchsurfing very recently. To me it sounds like a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and explore other countries in a way that most tourists won't be able to do. Apart from that it's obviously the cheapest way to travel. I'm looking forward to hosting you in return as soon as I have my own flat in Munich (2017).

Interests

Playing Guitar, Singing, Traveling (surprise!), Snowboarding, Diving, Running and of course I'm always up for some drinks and a good party :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite song ever is 'Don't stop believing' by Journey and I really love a lot of these 'Rock Oldies' from that time for example Bands like Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Supertramp or Toto. My favorite bands are 3 Doors Down, 12 Stones, Bullet for my Valentine and Linkin Park (The old stuff, not the new mainstream Bullshit 😉).

When it comes to books, I'm a fan of Fantasy novels. My favorite by far is the Eragon series (please don't say that's only for children, otherwise we can't be friends 😋) and I also loved Harry Potter. Besides, Simon Becket and his Chemistry of Death series is one of my favorites.

Favorite movies is hard to say, because there are too many good movies. When I was a teenager my favorite movie by far was the Matrix trilogy. Some other films I really like are the Lord of the Rings, Law abiding citizen, inception, a lot of James Bond movies (my favorite is Casino Royal), Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, get Smart (my favorite fun movie) and happy Gilmore. But that's only a selection.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I figured most people write 'prepare a delicious meal' here. Well, sorry, I can't (except for scrambled eggs or some Easy pasta). But I'm happy to help you cooking if you teach me what to do. Apart from that I can teach you how to play guitar or maybe jam with you (however, I didn't buy a guitar yet), or jut invite you for a drink. Aaaand of course, if you ever want to visit the Oktoberfest in Munich I will be happy to host you. :)
