I've just moved from London to New Zealand to experience another lifestyle. I love to see and experience other ways of life and travelling is a big part of that. I moved with my partner, Sarah, and we've been living and travelling together for the past 3 years or so.

I'm a big fan of hiking and watersports and love to get outside when I can. I'm a particular fan of any kind of sailing, but I'd love to get into kite sports. Sarah and I also love to get out on kayaks to explore.

As a tourist it can be difficult to break through the tourist barrier and experience a culture in a real, local way. I hope that Couchsurfing would be a great way to get through that barrier and learn what it really means to live in whichever country I'm visiting.

I've done a few things I loved - I flew a plane, I've scuba dived in the Canary Islands, I've sailed around the Isle of Wight and hiked in New Zealand to name a few, I'm still waiting for the one amazing standout thing though!
