Overview
About Me
I'm an artist living and working in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pottery has been my focus for the last few years, but I also sculpt and draw. I've traveled around the US quite a bit, but have never been out of the country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine is a frequent host of couchsurfers, so I've had the opportunity to hang out and talk with a lot of them. I'm always envious of the adventures they share and all the people they meet couchsurfing.
Interests
The majority of my time is spent making pottery in my home studio. I listen to obscene amounts of audiobooks and podcasts. A lot of scifi and fantasy. Rendezvous with Rama, Stranger in a Strange Land, LOTR, Game of Thrones, Freakonomics Radio, This American Life, Oil!, Stuff You Should Know, For Whom the Bell Tolls. That's what comes to mind that I've listened to recently.
I'm also a cyclist. It's been my main mode of transportation for the last ten or so years.
I love swimming. My life is basically consumed by making art, riding my bike, my day job, swimming, and I loves me some good beer when I can escape all of that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll just go with songs...
Give Me One Reason by Tracy Chapman
Rooster by Alice in Chains
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay Ottis Redding
Fifth Element! The Pianist! The Shawshank Redemption!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built a sculpture that was six and a half feet tall and in five sections out of 350 lbs of clay once.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can talk about art or look at art or make art! I can show you how to throw a pot on a pottery wheel or build a sculpture. I can help you fix your bike or we could go on a ride. If you need help putting a LEGO set together, I'm your man. I could teach you how to fish.
