I am a high school teacher and Canadian playwright. I've also been involved with theatre for 30 years. Born in Montreal and raised in Nova Scotia, I have made Toronto my home since 1993. I live with my wife Kathy (who is bilingual French/English) and our three teenage children and a small dog.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the rare times I need to travel alone I'd like to explore new places through the eyes of a local, and I'd also like to provide opportunities for people coming to Toronto. Over the years our family has hosted a number of international students learning English.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite genre of music is jazz and my favourite films are usually foreign films. When it comes to reading I prefer literature and specific non-fiction according to my interests.
