Overview
About Me
I've lived in San Francisco since 2008. Moved here from NYC, where I went to law school and worked for a few years. I recently left my job as an attorney to write a book about beer (which I did, it's published!) and open a bar in the Mission 'hood of SF. I also founded the SF Homebrewers Guild in 2012. It has since grown into a large-ish nonprofit org, I am now a board member.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet fun people, of course!
Interests
I know a ridiculous amount about beer, I'm a certified BJCP beer judge and a Certified Cicerone. So yeah, I enjoy good beer (also love rhum!) I love riding bikes all over the Bay Area, hiking, and camping. I'm active in the local Burning Man community. I ride a motorcycle.

I love sci fi books and movies, podcasts about science or storytelling, and electronic music, plus a whole bunch of other stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wrote and self published a book that sells well enough that I'm actually making a living on it while pursuing new interests.
