Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently opened up the opportunity for more freedom to finally fulfill my passion for travelling. I'm doing a lot of solo travelling but using a mixture of hostels and hotels at the moment which is good, but especially hotels the social element is usually missing.While hostels can be good it would be better to know someone who really knows the place and i can properly learn the way of life and culture of where I'm visiting.

Interests

I like to keep active so i have a very physical job but still love to hike out in new places when i can or go urban exploring. I love travelling to see and explore different cultures, and as I love cooking i try to learn new recipes from my travels! I'm recently trying to perfect my asian cuisine👌 I enjoy going out with my mates usually we'll organise something a little different and unusual like an axe throwing bar in manchester or something 🤙😂 i'm recently trying to get into photography but have loads left to learn!

Fav artist is Odesza, i don't read as much as i should but the last book i read was i am pilgrim. Love films that get you thinking but also who doesnt love a marvel film 👌🤓😁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled in remote Siberia on a student exchange. It was an incredible experience and made me value just how much people take things for granted. Really eye opening and life changing for the better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to properly start to learn another language. I know a little polish, but not enough to remotely say I'm fluent 😂 maybe you can help with improving my language skills over a few beers? it would be great to take in all aspects and ways of life in different parts of the world and hopefully both learn a bit about eachothers cultures. Like i said before i love to cook so maybe we can trade dishes and hopefully both learn something new. I'm also a very hands on guy being a mechanic so who knows i might be able to help fix something or offer advice if you have a problem 😊

I'm friendly and outgoing, and i have a positive outlook on life and would go with the flow of the host. Im happy to put my hands to most things so if there is anything i can do to help while im there I'm more than willing 😊 im a good listener, love a bit of laugh and never take anything too serious life's too short, always up for trying new things and generally have a very laidback attitude towards life ✌ I'd love to learn about others experiences and stories! And the aim is to make friends and memories not too be forgotten as that is worth more than anything!
