About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy life to the most and get crazy!

ABOUT ME

I am 30, Australian with a Greek Heritage, a data economist and travelling writer and musician that always tries to keep a very positive attitude in life!

My life dream is to be constantly looking for opportunities to expand my horizons and meet lots of new people. Enjoy going out with friends, travelling, and laughing.

PHILOSOPHY

Seize the day, grab every opportunity that appears, be positive and love yourself and others. Because life is short, and in the end, the only thing that really matters is what you have done to contribute to this world and your personal well being for that matter.
I prefer investing in people rather than things (despite the capitalistic nature of my future profession).
Lastly I try to be as a YES man as possible, as I believe that a mix of craziness, courage, self-reliance, good friends and a loving family is the key to eternal happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed and hosted multiple times in the past before couchsurfing was really an online thing, so I love the idea so far and plan to continue the trend as well as host wonderfull people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive been a couchsurfer and host for 3 years now and all I have to say is that the best part has been meeting amazing meeting people through this network as they tend to be very wordly, positive and extremely interesting! I love this idea and I hope that it will be winning more ground day by day

Interests

love surfing, travelling and meeting interesting and happy people.

Im also an avid scuba-diving fan, and I plan to obtain the advanced open water certificate any time soon. I also like reading books about psychology, management/business, philosophy and evolutionary biology.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Count of Monte Cristo (my favourite book ever), Emotional Intelligence, nietzche, froid, eat that frog and many many more
Music: I like all types of music but especially vocal progressive trance, indie and ethnic-new age music
Movies: I love the Indiana Jones saga lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Surfing next to Sea Lions in the Galapagos

- Sleeping under the stars in a Beduin Camp, in the Atlas desert in Morroco

- Freecamping on a deserted beach in the jungle of Ubatuba, Brazil

- Crossing the Amazon from Ecuador till Brazil

- anddd....Skydiving! An amazing experience, freefalling for I dont know how long and gliding through the air experiencing the greatest tranquility ever endowed upon me. And then the adrenaline rush preceding the landing (followed by some minor cuts and bruises) and the overwhelming feeling of joy and gratitude for being able to live life!

Seen: Its very hard to put my finger on just one sight, as this world is a wonderfull place and every country has its own unique landscape and experiences. But I reckon that Ill go for that night in Marrocco: After traversing the Atlas Mountain Desert part of Sahara on camels, I reached this amazing berber camp site. then we played and sang around a fire and when i was about to fall asleep I saw the most beautiful nightsky of my life..

Teach, Learn, Share

"Travel as much as you can as it is the only way to living a life in such a short period of time. The change of environment, the demanding and pleasant situations, the different people cultures and mentalities take you out of your comfort zone and make you see, reach and extent your personal limits. The disappointments caused by people help you mature and know what you want. The different languages teach you how to listen to a people`s music and succumb to their exotic rythms. The landscapes relax you and teach you how to remember that you are a part of them as nature is everywhere and within us.
Travelling shows you the real world. Travelling reveals and helps you get in terms with the real you."

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love playing the guitar so if there is one around, it would be great to be given the opportunity to play for them! I am always open to talk about my travel experience as well, and would feel great to provide my advice on anything they would be open talking about! I have met many people and would love to spread as much positivity around.

Although I am not a chef, I would be willing to contribute by cooking some dishes that I consider my specialties ;)

People are different, so there is always something you could offer to make someone's life easier or give them an unforgettable couchsurfing experience!
