Hey! I’m Chris from London, the land of unpredictable weather, endless queues, and people who apologize even when someone else bumps into them. I love my city, but I also love escaping it whenever I can.
Traveling, for me, is all about curiosity. I’m fascinated by how people live, eat, and celebrate in different corners of the world. I love wandering without a plan, chatting with locals, and saying “yes” to things that sound slightly questionable but make great stories later. I’m a massive food nerd, I love cooking, experimenting, and exploring local markets. Sometimes it turns out great, sometimes it turns into “creative chaos,” but I promise it’s always entertaining. I’ll happily cook a meal for my host if you’re up for it — just don’t stand too close to the stove when I’m in “mad scientist” mode. Music is my other big love. Gigs, concerts, or street musicians I’m there. I’ve spent more than one evening following the sound of a live band down some random street, and I regret none of it. Bonus points if there’s a local beer involved (I take my research very seriously). People say I’m easygoing, funny in a slightly chaotic way, and good company for deep conversations or silly ones. I’m tidy, respectful, and genuinely enjoy getting to know my hosts. Couchsurfing for me isn’t just about a free couch, it’s about meeting good humans and seeing the world through their stories.
