About Me

I value lifestyle over money, as do many of the people I meet. I believe the best gift you can give yourself is a memorable moment, which is just one reason why I started my own Photo Scavenger Hunt business (FrogQuest).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend from Colombia convinced me to give it a try. I'm spontaneous and always up for a new experience. I love meeting and talking with people while traveling and treasure the "local experiences" most! Sounded like a perfect match.

Interests

I love technology, traveling, soccer, and white water kayaking (not in that order). I've recently been building mobile apps in React Native, which is a new technology developed by Facebook. I've been traveling through Thailand & Vietnam for the past 2 months. When I'm home, I play soccer a couple times per week. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I've seen a lot of things in life that most people will never witness. And, I'm pretty sociable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Reggae - Katchafire because it reminds me of traveling SE Asia

Movies: I love dramas, the serious oscar nominated movies... and sometimes I like funny light hearted romantic comedies too.

Books: My favorite all time book is Replay by Ken Grimmwood because it's unlike any story you've ever heard before. My favorite Memoir is The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. And the most beautifully written book I've ever read is Shantaram.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Portland OR last summer just so I could white water kayak more.
