About Me
I think the wanderlust bug first bit me in 9th grade. My family would all rush to get chores chored, homework completed (more or less) and popcorn popped so we could settle down and watch The Amazing Race before bed. The Amazing Race is a show where 11 teams of 2 race around the world for a chance to win a million buckaroos. Skydiving in Bora Bora, a Taxi race through New Zealand, scorpion hunting in Botswana, climbing Switzerland's Eiger Mountain! My world was completely turned upside down learning about all of these amazing places, people and cultures. I remember thinking screw the cash! I'm here for the adventure! Got a job as a Traveling Journeyman Wireman and haven't looked back since, i've been on the road exploring everything the United States has to offer for the last 4 years. I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for, I haven't the foggiest idea of when or even if I'll find it, frankly i'm not worried about it because the stories we share come from the journey less so from the arrival.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe everyone you meet has something to teach you if you can manage to look up from your digital device and listen. I'm here to learn, to explore, to laugh and experience everything there is to experience seeing how we're only here for such a small 'blip' of time. Only very recently was I introduced to Couchsurfing staying in the Demo House in Portland Oregon and during my 3 day stay I met the most amazing people, made new friends and went on adventure after adventure with other couch surfers. I've always traveled solo because I never knew of a way to connect with other travelers with similar interests in the same general area, and here you are! Better late than never I guess!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I've played music for most of my life so I can get by on most instruments. I'm kind of a goof ball once I get to know you so hopefully we can share in a laugh or two (or a hundred).
