A dynamic duo, we are Chris and Cate. We have been rocking out as bro and sis since 1993 and try to get along the best we can.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he played lacrosse. He then spent 5 years in Colorado where he was able to enjoy everything out doors and some great breweries! Today Chris works with tech companies selling software. When he's not working, he enjoys volunteering, coaching, attending concerts and being outside for hikes and bike rides.

Cate is a graduate of Kutztown University and is currently pursuing her masters degree in Social Work. Her passion is to make the world a better place! Cate also spent some time in Colorado and also enjoys the outdoors in her free time. When she's not studying she can probably be found outside with her puppy Seargent playing fetch.

We come from a family that has raised us to depend on each other so we like doing awesome stuff together! This is a family that has also taught us to be respectful so we promise to be good guests and pitch in where we can to make us the best guests you've ever had. Our goal is just to meet new people and find out more about how you live your life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Cate and I are planning a once in a lifetime trip around the world starting in June and ending in August. We plan on visiting countries in Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Cambodia) and Europe (France, Spain, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, Italy). We know - we're missing some good ones, but we can't fit in everything!

With Cate graduating from her masters program in June and Chris transitioning out of his current job into a new role in Coloradao, they think it's a perfect time for them to take this trip.

Cate and I love meeting new people. We love learning about people. We love hearing about peoples lives. Put this together, and we think there's no better way to explore the world than with Couchsurfing. What an awesome opportunity it would be to meet you in your home town and find out about how you live!

And this isn't a one way street, we'd love to show people around our lovely town here in Pennsylvania!

Music - All (except country) - really depends on the day and what I'm feeling!
Movies - I love watching movies. My favorite movie would probably be Sandlot or little rascals (sis is a copycat)
Books - I'm really into Tom Clancy novels. I also have my dork moments where I read self-improvement books like those from Dale Carnegie.

Chris - I've hiked 14 of Colorado's 58 14ers (mountains above 14,000ft). Best view in the world!

Chris - I'm always trying to learn! My goal is to learn as much as I can about you and your culture as possible. Show me how you live so I can see how we're different and how we're similar. I can share with you all my experiences and teach you a few lacrosse skills if we can track down some sticks. If you're interested in sales I can definitely teach you a few things I've picked up along the way in my jobs.
