We a married couple in our mid thirties. We are serious gardeners and food preservers, always experimenting with new foods and techniques. Chris has a pottery studio in the basement where he makes the cups and bowls we use in the kitchen. Kate is currently learning about making wine and enjoying the freedom of post-graduate life!

Chris did a three week wilderness canoe journey, drank untreated water the whole time, and didn't get sick! Kate once visited a cave in France with Paleolithic cave paintings. So beautiful!
