About Me

Scottish

I'm at a point in my life where all I want to do is travel. I asked my employer if I could move to Poland for a few months and here I am. Who knows where I will end up next. I would like to learn more of the lanuage than I have so far. I love frying new foods so Poland has been great for this :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see more of the world and meet some interesting people whilst I do it

Interests

I like to make short films in film festivals with one of my friend groups.

I like to keep to a weights routine at the gym, however since moving to Poland I haven't been keeping on top of it as much. I did a half marathon earlier these year and intend on doing a full one next year.

I like going out to the movies or even just sitting in with friends for a Netlix kind of night.

I like going to parties and meeting new people whilst having a couple of drinks.

I have only just started travelling in my late 20s. I went to the odd country when I was younger but have only recently developed the calling to see everything.

Listening to music makes me happy but I love to experience it live even more. Some of the performances i have seen have been by ACDC, Eminem, Coldplay, Muse, Tenacious D, Robbie Williams and Gorillaz.

Friends are very important to me. I like to put as much time as I can into all the friendships that I have made. Friends are the family that we choose ourselves. It hard to sum that up as an interest though because you never know what kind of adventures will come from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is Gorillaz. I like how much of a genre variation there is in the music plus the ever growing list of collaborators. I also like the whole idea of the fictional band and art style of it. It is hard for me to sum up my taste in music as it is varied. It will stretch from cheesy 90s music to metal and everything in between including the classics.

I haven't been much of a reader lately, mainly just books on self improvement. The last ficitional book that I read and really enjoyed was The Alchemist.

My favourite film is Shaun of the dead. It sums up the best comedy style in my eyes. I like all film genres however comedy films are what I keep coming back to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tommy Wiseau from the film The Room (Yes the weird guy that James Franco plays in The Disaster Artist) showed up at my flat in the middle of the night. I had to throw him out because he was making too much noise 😂😂😂 it pained me to do it so much because I love that film 😂😂

Teach, Learn, Share

I can educate on how to film a project and field questions on Scottish culture.

I would like to learn more about different cultures, languages and food.

I can't share my home right now as the place I'm living forbids me from guests. I love the idea of couch surfing so would love to offer when I get back to Scotland.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help around the house with whatever needs done 😁
