About Me

I work for a wonderful catering company where I get to do events for nonprofits and a lot of farm to fork, along with super classy weddings and dreadful political events.
I've always wanted to take a cross country road trip so I bought an old vw last year and have spent the vast majority of my free time since then fixing it.
I'm heading from here to Seattle and then taking the coast high way down and back home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been working since I was 15 and haven't been out of the country since then. I've saved up and am doing a coast to coast trip with two friends in a vw westfalia.

Interests

I was wanting to check out as many awesome outdoor spots as possible. Not solely restricted to national parks. I like old abandoned things.
I play hockey but I didn't bring my gear. I'm regretting that decision now.
I'm a bartender and we do lots of tastings and openings, and I'm from the home of bourbon so I love good beer and whiskey.
Hanging out in backyards and backporches.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything by Kurt vonnegut. I'm reading a Jose Phillip farmer book right now. I brought five or six books with me.
I absolutely love movies. My dream job would have been early b movie director.
I hate describing what music i like in text. I like music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A view over the canopy all the way to the ocean from a Cliffside after we crawled through a cave squeezed through tiny holes went under water and climbed a 40 ft wall.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll talk to you about anything.
I'm looking to met people around the places I'm visiting and learn how it feels to live there not just meet the people at the koa. Who are from somewhere else too.

What I Can Share with Hosts
