Overview
About Me
I am a young professional working for a start-up non-profit that helps students and staff members on colleges and universities across the U.S. establish waste reduction projects on their campuses (i.e. recycling, composting, reuse stores, etc.). I try my best to respect and be conscious of others' space and needs. I was born in New Hampshire, but spent most of my childhood and adolescence back and forth between California and Scotland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am often travelling to college and university campuses all across the country to facilitate presentations and training workshops around waste reduction initiatives. To align with the sustianability values of the non-profit that I work for, (both environmental and financial) I try to pursue accomodation that is more affordable and less wasteful than staying in hotels. Plus, couch surfing is a great way to make new connections internationally!
Interests
While not working within the world of waste, I enjoy dancing , as a classically trained ballerin(o) and having been a member of multiple hip hop crews throughout college. I am also very involved in the local improv comedy community where I live on the Seacoast of New Hampshire.
