About Me

About me and Nastia:

I love meeting people and discussing how they see life. I can be pretty fun, but I also like having a relaxed atmosphere sometime. As a consequence, I tend to be up for anything when I'm exploring a new place!
Nastia (my girlfriend)- she is an artist from Russia, sometimes a little introverted, but I can be too. She is unable to speak English at the moment, which might hamper your conversations with her a wee bit. I'm still trying to think of what I should put here, but I am blanking. When I was six, I had a pet anole and used to love digging for things in mud. Now I am much older and have no pets. P.S.- Nastia found out what I just wrote here and wants to make sure that you know that we don't have any mud in our apartment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In a word- great, and that's not just about the hosts. I've met fellow travelers who are just incredible people. I love this network because of the opportunity it gives me to step outside my comfort zone and do what I love- meet new people, learn from them, explore the world, and just have a good time. I lived in Russia for about two years all together, but I have found that some of the most insightful experiences that I've had into Russian culture and daily life for Russians have occurred while just spending a couple of nights couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Folklore, boring books about history and social sciences, anything I can find in another language that I can actually understand :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eaten shaurma in more than ten countries and lived to tell the tale.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English, or some Russian or Ukrainian :)
I make a mean goulash, but otherwise would love to learn how to cook better, or how to do any basic survival skill that I might need after the apocalypse. I find languages interesting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A kidney, if they're the right blood type.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Malaysia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Thailand, Ukraine, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
