Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting people and have benefited from the personal nature of meeting others in my travels outside of the hotel setting.

I am a passionate world traveler who appreciates good company, a good Belgian style beer, and wouldn’t mind walking by the beach or hiking near some mountains. I also appreciate the cultural experience of meeting other people and getting out of my comfort zone!

Music- All over the place. My Spotify playlists have John Williams, Elvis Presley, and Ed Sheeran among many other artists. I joke that when it comes to music I can be a 55-year old in a 25-year-old’s body!

I’m an open book- happy to learn something new, share about myself, and teach you a thing or two (especially about my home towns, history, or even political outcomes- no judging from me on your politics, so don’t worry about that!)

You can be sure to hear a few fun stories from my travels but also have a listening ear and a responsible guest. I enjoy sharing a nice drink, good conversation, and spending time at a beach or up in the mountains (those last 2 things we can’t do too much of here in the Midwest!)
