About Me

Lindsay

I am from Niagara Falls, Canada. I have a degree in fashion design and am a very visual, creative person. For 3 years I had my own business selling clothing I made, and also filmed videos about my different design projects. I am a passionate vegan cook, and enjoy helping with gardening, decorating, and painting. For fun I love to read and do yoga :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into Siddhartha from Herman Hess for the moment, I love Walden from Thoreau, "Into the Forest" from Hegland, "The Deer Man" from Delorme.

I'm a fan of Joaquin Phoenix, when he plays in "Her" or "The Joker". I love movies like"Parasites" and "triangle of sadness". Any movies that analyses and denounces the society we live in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I carried heavy stuff with a bicycle, a two person mattress, and big punching bag, moving slower make everything possible. I grew mushrooms in my basement, mushrooms are amazing! I slept in a shelf, it is amazing? I don't know ^^

Teach, Learn, Share

I've done my t-shirt myself, I'm learning embroidery, I'm starting harmonica and watercolor painting. i'm travelling with a skateboard that can carry my bag and allow me to commute when I stay somewhere.

I love to work with wood, to build, repair, arrange, make daily life sweeter.
I'm into Minimalism for 5 years now and I have a philosophy and methods to declutter.
I'm into Veganism for +- 5 years and I have great tips to cook and go towards less suffering consumption.
I would love to go torwards raw food and to listen to my real needs.

I would love to learn Qi Quong and daily rituals to make a better connection with energies and the world around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to make experimentations with fermented food and drinks. I've done already Miso paste, living mustard, tofu from and fermented vegan cheese from soy beans, done with milk kefir.
