Hi everyone. My name is Chris and I was born in the beautiful island of Penang and grew up in the northern state of Kedah. Currently I’m working and staying in Kuala Lumpur. I’m a lawyer by profession and thus I’m quite busy during the weekdays. Even so, I do not mind hosting anyone as long as you don’t mind me not around. I can bring you around during the weekends and even my landlord will be very happy to bring you around. I enjoy going to the pub rather than a club as I prefer to have a conversation rather than having my ear drums blown :p I would love to introduce my guest to all kinds of local food and fruits, just make sure you have the stomach for it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel honoured to be able to show my guest around KL and beyond. Of Course Penang is my ultimate dream place to stay and who knows, maybe we can visit Penang together. I love to share knowledge and views of foreign affairs and history as well as political situations around the world.

Interests

I’m passionate about history in general. Modern history to be exact. I love to read about wars especially stories of World War 2. I also enjoy researching and visiting historical buildings and structures. There are many in Penang but there are also a few in KL. I’m also a car enthusiast. I love classic cars and anything to do with cars. Like many classic car enthusiast, my dream car is Mercedes 300SL Gullwing :D. Apart from these 2, I generally love to know the lifestyle and local tradition of a country you are from. I love to know the daily life over there and what are the common things to do over there.

I love historical and action movies, and sci-fi is not my kind of movie.

I read only non-fiction books.
