I am a student living in Melbourne, Australia studying engineering at university. Due to my family going on many travelling holidays when I was younger I am now extremely interested in travelling as much of the world as possible while I complete my studies at university. I am pretty easy going and love to meet new people in the hope of making friends all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that this is a much better way to get in touch with locals while travelling, and to actually engage in the culture of the country I am in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Ed Sheeran, Yiruma, Joe Hisaichi, Fleetwood Mac, Owl City, We the Kings, Allday, Hilltop Hoods, and I listen to a lot of music in languages other than English; despite not understanding the voices I am able to appreciate the artistic impression.
Movies:
Game or Thrones, Gladiator, Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Shutter Island, The Machinist, and my all-time nostalgic favourite is Ice Age 1.
Books:
A Song of Ice and Fire, The Sword of Truth, The Wheel of Time, Various different Japanese Manga and Korean Manhwa, and some older Shakespearian Texts and Poetry of a similar style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've para-glided off of the Swiss alps. I've climbed a steep mountain in New Zealand with only my clothes on me and no water (lost my shoes; don't ask). I've been swimming with sharks and diving through a sunken ship.
