Overview
About Me
I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places, and experiencing the world. I'm told I'm a good cook, very laid back, and a good laugh.
This is my first time with the Couchsurfing app, but over the past three years I've crashed on many couches, floors and guest beds from my travels. I've even crashed in two different airports (LAX is more comfortable than Laguardia).
Over the past 3 years I've traveled North America to run various races and meet new people. In 2015 alone I was in 18 cities and 2 continents running 31 races.
The journey of life keeps me going. I try to soak up as much as I can while in town. Seeing the sites is fun, but the conversation along the way makes it memorable. There are few things more exciting than jumping on a plane with your gear unsure of what will happen over the next couple days.
I've been called a Jack-of-All- Trades. I enjoy picking up new skills, learn enough to be dangerous, and then learn something new.
My day job is all about people, having a great conversation over coffee or lunch, and help people figure out what they need or want to do with their personal and professional lives. So don't be afraid of us running out of things to talk about. Occasionally I'm called to do public speaking on a variety of topics, sometimes changed right before going on stage.
When it comes to life, I take it one day at a time. Life's too short and cruel at times not to. I enjoy the moments I get.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel to find interesting races throughout the year and while there I like to meet new people, enjoy good company, and have a laugh or two. I've met many friends over the years and made many memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran a half marathon in Brooklyn, hopped in a car to D.C. and ran the Army Ten Miler in the same weekend and made it to work on time by Monday morning. In both cities I enjoyed their pizzas and beer. How else do you compare them if you don't have them back to back?
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been called a Jack of all Trades, I love to learn about as many things as possible. Just enough to be dangerous. This year I've been trying woodworking.
Teach - Anything from cooking to finance to public speaking
Learn - About the person I'm staying with, any new skill or topic. I could sit and listen to practically anything so long as the topic is complex and engaging.
Share - Experiences, Travel, Stories, and a Laugh
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversion, stories, and a good laugh. I'm also told I'm a good cook, so I will gladly cook a meal. If you need help or a repair around the house, and it's in the scope of my skills, I'll gladly help out.
