Overview
About Me
I’m Chris, from Sydney Australia. I have taken a gap year to travel since November 2024, which has been the most incredible experience of my life.
I spent 7 months travelling through South Asia and the Middle East before moving to Germany to learn German for a few months.
Couchsurfing has been an incredible way to learn more deeply about a city and its people, which is why I love it compared to staying in hotels/hostels.
I love economics, history, politics, as well as music (house/techno, indie) and sport (football, cricket, Aussie rules).
I have plenty of stories to trade with you from places like India, Afghanistan, Iran. Would love to hear yours too!
I’ve also been writing a blog about the unique economic/social situations of the places Ive been. You can read here if you’re interested: chrisistravelling.substack.com
