I love playing music. I’m currently based out of Santa Cruz, CA. I studied jazz there at Cabrillo College. My other hobbies are surfing and rock climbing. I’m from Detroit, Michigan. I studied Computer Science at the University of Michigan - Go Blue! I worked as a software engineer for a year after University. For the past few years I’ve been traveling, living transiently and eventually found a strong community that I have somewhat settled down with in Santa Cruz. I have a strong desire for knowledge and I enjoy a good conversation!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't imagine a better way to travel. The community house that I lived in in Santa Cruz hosted Couchsurfers all the time. That choice brought about awesome experiences and relationships that never could have happened without this platform. One of the couchsurfers we hosted actually ended up staying and moving in to our house as a long term housemate :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed around the Bahamas on a Caliber 33! From Miami to Staniel Cay in the Exumas. It was about a 3 week trip until the boat broke lol. But it was amazing.
