About Me
Yooo! Born and raised outside of New York City in a beautiful green corner of Northern NJ. And like everyone from NJ, I got a taste for Vermont at a young age and made it my mission to move there.
My wife and I live in the smallest capital city in the country, Montpelier, VT. We enjoy all the finer things that a child-free life in Vermont offers: long gravel rides, ski bumming around in our van, camping trips, backcountry picnics, secret swimming hole adventures, and so on. Lots of wine, cheese, bread, cured meats, weird Italian liqueurs, late night yapping with friends... and of course our two cats.
Always looking to get a good bang for the buck when traveling so we can appreciate those trying to do the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We've been traveling where we literally just need a place to stay, grab a shower, and hit the road. We'd love to offer that, especially because our region is so overrun by expensive AirBNBs and even the local inns and hotels can be cost prohibitive.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very varied musical background, but grew up on the "basement" punk / metal / hardcore scene along with an long-standing love of electronic music in all forms. That said I was raised by a guitarist and will never shy away from groovy instrumental music.
I used to work as a film projectionist in a movie theater so I have seen a ton of films, blockbusters and B-movies alike.
I hold my own as a Tolkien (Lord of the Rings) geek, albeit probably not to the degree that many others do.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the John Muir Trail with my best friend from High School who also moved to Vermont and now lives 15 minutes from me with his wife and daughter.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a jack of all trades and love geeking out about my interests. I know at least a little about a lot.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Quiet when you want it, a good conversation if that's the move too. I did go to school for Photography and Design so I am always willing to help if those services prove useful to anyone.
