About Me
Hi, I'm Chris! Currently working for a World Bank-funded project implemented by the Philippine government. Me and my partner, Deeji - who's also on Couchsurfing - have a one-year old son named Maharlika Malaya (which means noble warrior and freedom in our language) more popularly known to family and friends as Peanut, whom we raise together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It has been one of my dreams to travel the world and meet new people, and I think there's no better way to travel than to couchsurf. You get to enjoy not only the destination but also the warmth of the people and their interesting culture.
Interests
Biodiversity, natural resource management, and climate change studies. I love music and I play the guitar. I was in a shock rock band once. I also write poetry, especially when I'm inspired, but mostly when I'm down :(
