ABOUT ME
Young Aussie guy that wants to try and see the world while I'm young enough to enjoy it. Enjoy getting out and exploring and keeping active just as much as I like downing a lot of beer whilst playing video or board games with my mates. Been waterskiing since I was a kid, have just started wakeboarding so pretty woeful at it. Snowboarding keeps me outdoors in winter (yes, Australia has snow, who knew!)
Usually a pretty laid back sorta bloke, enjoy my alone time just as much as I like getting to know new people.
Some might say I'm a little sarcastic... You be the judge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Always wanted to give it a go, had a few mates that have couch surfed when they've travelled and they all had great experiences - travelling solo at the moment so it seems like the perfect opportunity to try it out. Figure it's a great way to meet people and get a local's insight on the places I'm visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite artist/band is a tie between The Killers and Thirty Seconds to Mars. I'm holding off on making a final judgement until I've seen The Killers live. Other than that, I'll listen to pretty much anything, not a huge fan of rap or RnB though. Classic rock and 80's powerballads are always winners.
Favourite movie is The Matrix, followed very closely by The Lion King. Bit of a Sci Fi nerd - love StarWars.
Sort of lost my appetite for books as I've grown up, but I try to polish of a least a couple books a year. Currently reading Hillary Clinton's Hard Choices. Other recent reads include Gone Girl and Bill Maher's New New Rules.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most of the amazing moments in my life have happened when I've been travelling - watching the sunrise over Ankor Wat, being invited by a local Vietnamese woman to her house for dinner with her family, this list goes on.
Countries I’ve Visited
