About Me

I am a Canadian university student who loves nothing more than exploring and new experiences. After having lived in Canada for my entire life and only beginning to travel somewhat recently, I am excited to spend time living and learning in other countries. There is a big world out there and I want to experience as much of it as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered couch surfing on a recent trip through the Philippines, after being referred to it by a friend. After landing in Manila and meeting our hosts, I immediately understood how amazing couch surfing was. I met a super cool group of people and ended up spending some time travelling the Philippines with them. It was a truly awesome experience and it made my travels much more exciting and simple. I have become interested in couch surfing and the welcoming global community it represents ever since.

Interests

I spend a lot of my free time outside playing sports. My main interests include soccer, skiing, surfing, kiteboarding, scuba diving, mountain biking and skateboarding. Right now I am focusing on learning to write Java Script and play chess.. The chess is not getting much better though..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning how to freedive in the Philippines when I came across a school of sardines. The sardines were packed in the most massive school that I had ever seen, there were hundreds of thousands of fish all swimming together in a unit. I spent an hour with the sardines, swimming through their school and having them circle around me. It was a surreal and humbling experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good vibes and a helping hand. Also someone to beat in chess, for the time being..
