About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Historical and cultural escape to Eastern Europe
ABOUT ME
Fun loving in general, love to try new things, speak to people and make friends. I have a deep interest in world history - particularly war - and hence my current mission to Eastern Europe while I am on student exchange in Finland.
Besides school, I took up ballet dancing, did a theatre performance, and am into reading (fiction and non-fiction alike). I like to organize events as well; planning and making something happen has a feel-good factor that can't be substituted.
I like people, interacting with them and hearing about them in books. Peoples' differences culminate in perspectives that I find fascinating to explore. A good chat is sometimes the only thing I crave for and hence couch surfing became a reasonable method to enrich the travelling experience with some quality human-touch.
I look forward to meeting you!
PHILOSOPHY
There's only so far science can go, then there's god.
*I am a new Christian; cool if you are not because I can understand why you wouldn't want someone telling you to do this and that just because they think it's the best for you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can offer my place in Finland; temporarily or at least until the end of December.
If you'd like to visit Singapore, I'd be more than open to having you crash in my apartment.
Sometimes I'll visit my relatives back in China and if you happen to be around, you're always welcomed to say hi and I'll show you around the villages.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Super duper new to this, may be helpful if you can give me some friendly advice; don't want to look like an idiot.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: let's see.. it's not about the genre or title but rather the performer. He/she has to put on a good show. I'd choose a classy acting from someone like Ryan Gosling over CGI action-packed robots fighting any day (although I like Transformers).
Music: Open-minded; I try to listen to a country's music before I travel there.
Books: Agatha Christie is my all time favourite. Dan Brown and Dean Koontz are not bad too. Non-fiction, I am currently reading Investment and Innovation related books; they are curiously intriguing!
