Overview
About Me
I'm a helicopter pilot with a brand new house and a spare bedroom. I come home from work every evening and either have nobody to talk to or need to go to bed immediately for work the next day. Crash here for a night or two, keep my puppy some company, and don't steal anything.
Absolutely no drugs at my house -- If you have drugs with you or I suspect so, I'll call the cop that lives 3 doors down after I kick you out. Drinking here is more than okay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
All of my friends are military and it would be nice to meet and/or keep up with someone who doesn't have the exact same profession and experiences as I do. Also, I figure, why not? I have a spare room and travel a lot. Maybe I can crash for free somewhere someday.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oddly, a lot of 90's music, and also a die-hard Foo Fighters fan. I watch all kinds of movies, so I'm up for anything. I read a lot of non-fiction history, with the occasional Jerry Pournelle or Larry Niven.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't brag or talk about myself a lot. I have a lot of experiences that are very unique and I cherish their memories. If you stay, I'm sure one will pop out.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll talk to you, plain language, about the military. Nothing I say constitutes as US or DoD policy, but I'll give you what I think and feel about what I've accomplished and where I think we're headed.
Hippies okay, as long as you don't get aggressive or turn a mutual learning opportunity into an argument.
If you stay here, you'll have your own warm bed/bath, a full kitchen (you can cook if you like, I usually don't have time), washer/dryer, please play with my dog (it's the only thing I ask of you), and don't steal anything. Oh yeah, don't make a huge mess.
