I was a student.
Then I was a volunteer. In Ghana and then Peru.
Then I was an intern, in Finland.
But now I've settled in London, working, for a while, at least.
Then? I haven’t planned.

I have slept on many couches but only recently have I been able to host.

I have spent around three years travelling and volunteering and so my main interests definitely lie in meeting a variety of people and trying different things. I have now settled in London and most likely for the long term so have decided to try hosting.

I love lots of books. Things by Kurt Vonnegut, Vladimir Nabokov, George Orwell, Philip Roth, Don DeLillo, Joseph Conrad, Roger Hargreaves, Graham Greene, Tolstoy, Kazuo Ishiguro and about a million other authors in particular. Or indiscriminately, I guess.

Music should make me want to dance or hit me in the feels.
I like jazz, like Chet Baker or Bill Evans. Everybody digs Bill Evans. Perhaps Willy Mason or Ben Howard.
I am listening to Disclosure right now. This instant. But yesterday I was listening to the xx. Tomorrow is James Blake or maybe Jamie Woon. Black Keys

My taste in films is perhaps similar to my taste in food, in that it is unrefined, all-consuming and possibly indifferent. Pizza, Will Smith, burgers and the Cohen Brothers, Scorsese with gravy, Freddy Krueger & Chips, scampi, Javier Bardem, macarons, Antonio Banderas. The last one was a lie. Paella. Shane Meadows.
