I worked and lived in Nijmegen, a beautiful city in the Netherlands for the last 8 years. That's the place where I met my boyfriend (from Belgium), and now, after quit our jobs and minimize our belongings we travel. We started in may 2016 in South America for 7 month. With too much free wine in Mendoza we decided to go to Australia, that's where we are now. We don't know where and when we'll stop our travels,for so long we enjoy our time on the road.

I'm occupational therapist and loved my job, because I always had really interesting conversations and could help my clients find solutions for their problems. In daily life I also like good conversations, beer and wine, cooking and the benefits of it, stroll around the places and get surprised by the beauty of the daily life.

I like to be organised, but most of the time I end up unorganised. Like cooking, I always en up with some special ingredients which aren't in the recipe. Also while travelling, I have an idea or a plan and mostly it works out unexpected imperfect but makes me happy more then I could imagine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love this idea to meet people all over the world at their own place and see the way they live.
But until now my only couchsurf experience is to meet up with surfers for one, two,... beer and have a fun time.
