About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being the salt and the light. Travel and writing about it in a humorous fashion

ABOUT ME

I love travel, hearing your travel stories, and sharing life with interesting people. I know the best Chinese restaurant for dim sum Chicken feet, and have a good knowledge of the area from the border north to Whistler.

PHILOSOPHY

People say time flies when you're having fun. I believe
time flies whether you're having fun or not.

You might as well have fun with it and run with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Tent Space participant on ADV Rider. We have a spare room, we can probably help with laundry, share some chow, swap some outrageous tales maybe show you around the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always found that strangers are just friends I haven't met yet. My wife and I travel a lot, so it's best to give us a weeks worth of advance notice to make sure we're home. N/S N/D wifi....bed around 11?

Interests

Travel by wing, wheel or water. Send e-mail to get Ride Reports and Blog info. Different ethnic foods, Indian, Chinese, Japanese etc. Photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic taste in all. Particularly enjoy Pixar, Smooth Jazz and books with enlightening content.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Take my word for it. Falling off a cliff is not something you want to try. I've done it twice, once from about 50' once from about 30'. NOT a pleasant experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Peace begins within, but as humans we cannot be the author of our own peace, any more than we can author of own happiness.

Happiness is a by-product of living a life in balance.
Balance is found by tuning in to an eternal wavelength.

Everything in us and everything in the world resounds with the same wavelength. Our hearts were created for this.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria

Countries I’ve Lived In
