ABOUT ME
A New York native moved to Scotland. I like to think my friends might say that I'm a laid-back, contemplative fellow who's an up for pretty much anything. I much prefer a quiet intimate atmosphere and a substantial engagement to a boisterous rendezvous, but I think there's a time and place for everything! I think film can be entertaining and informative medium, and I like flimmaking and photography a lot. I like philosophy, and science, and history, music....
PHILOSOPHY
I find that hard to put into words at the moment. I think people are in a constant state of evolution.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Trying to travel, and host if I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with a few nice folks, but haven't hosted anyone yet!
Interests
I enjoy being outdoors, nature in general, watching and critiquing films, and thinking about the world in different ways! I like talking, reading, theatre, listening and planing many types of music. Recently worked in an Independent Cinema in Rochester, New York.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music I think can be found somewhere in the mix between reggae, rock 'n' roll, and electronic.
Something like a mindful mix of The Specials, Cream, and Gorillaz
I like a ton of films. To name a few: There Will Be Blood, Dr. Strangelove (as well as nearly any Kubrick flick), Sans Soleil, Children of Men, and many more!
I really enjoy reading, but don't do enough of it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
120 mile hike through Scottish Highlands (In four days), learned to ride a motorcycle, a 26-minute funk jam on Herbie Hancock's Chameleon
Countries I’ve Visited
