ABOUT ME

I graduated from the University of Michigan where I studied Math, French, and Education. This summer I worked at a university in Singapore where I facilitated leadership development sessions and helped improve student organizations.

Now, I'm teaching English as a second language to French university students. I am very interested in learning and love sharing in good conversations with others. Life's about taking chances, making mistakes, and getting messy.

Interests

I love reading, watching TV and movies, and listening to music (I'm also an amateur DJ). Cooking has been a great pass-time for me recently; it's so peaceful and yields wonderfully delicious results, too! I also believe that being active is really important, so I spend a good amount of time being outside and exercising.

Friends and family make life what it is. I absolutely having good conversations over food or drinks. It's just the best.

I also really enjoy adventures - what's life without a bit of excitement? =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, the Office, the Simpsons, Futurama, How I Met Your Mother, and Modern Family.

Love watching movies but I'm not sure what my favorite is. Depends on my mood.

Was an amateur DJ back in the States so I have a wide variety of music in my library. Similar to my preference for movies, it depends on my mood. That said, here are some artists I really like: Coldplay, Gotye, Foster the People, Noah and the Whale, Kelly Clarkson, Imagine Dragons, Florence + The Machine, Flo Rida, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and other Top 40 / pop / party music .. you know, stuff that you can dance to! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I pet a tiger once, that was pretty cool.

Swimming in the Great Barrier Reef was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
