ABOUT ME

Hi! I love to meet people from all different walks of life as a way to grow and broaden my perspective on healthy, fun living. I'm a recent university graduate transitioning into adult life and all of its corresponding freedoms and responsibilities. I'm not ready to be slowly tractor-beamed into a steady, "good" career yet, and so have decided to work/travel for a year or so starting in London! This coming academic year (2014-2015) I'll be teaching English in Murcia, Spain via the Spanish government's "Auxiliares de Conversacion" program. I'm outgoing, agreeable and would love meet you!

I'm green as grass when it comes to couch surfing, that is I'm a "newbie". But I have hosted and visited through similar sights like airbnb before and in general love the idea of opening up your home to travelers to create a more interesting, unified world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many types of music - with a particular soft spot for folk and rock classics from my childhood (CCR, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Eric Clapton etc.)

I enjoy an eclectic mix of books and movies too. I just read some essays by David Foster Wallace, a journalist and comic writer, and watched "Silver Linings Playbook" - a clever dramatic comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been surrounded by stingrays, sharks and speeding, amorphous groups of colorful fish while diving the Great Barrier Reef.
