ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet new people. I like to go out for local food and drink. I have been riding a motorcycle for a 6 years now and have ridden it all around the southern United States- from coast to coast.
I love being outdoors and working in my backyard. I really enjoy raising egg chickens and growing a big veggie garden.
I try to spend at least a month or so travelling every year. I have been SCUBA diving a lot and spent plenty of time backpacking around far-off lands.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been using CS for a number of years now. I have been hosted all over the country, and hosted a number of other surfers. I have made a ton of what will be life-long friends using this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer 2011 I rode my Triumph Tiger motorcycle from San Francisco to Florida, North to West Virginia, and back! It took a few months and I stayed with about 20 surfers and had a blast with all of them!

My sister, cousin, friend, and I all stayed at a guy's place in Zurich in 2011. It was fantastic. Hostels in Zurich were so expensive due to the exchange rate and Stephen saved us a ton and we got to see much of the Swiss countryside whit one of his friends.

Interests

Gardening and doing outdoor activities, like frisbee golf. Micro-brews. Motorcycles. Movies. Meeting new people.

Reggae and classic rock.
Mostly dumb comedies.
Honestly, the most enjoyable books Ive read in a while were the Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a 9,000 mile cross-country solo motorcycle trip and only paid for lodging twice for the whole 3 months!! Thank goodness for Couchsurfing!!

I have seen India and Nepal- amazing.
