About Me

Aloha! I'm currently traveling around South East Asia via motorbike and would love to meet up and hang out with friendly folks along the way. I grew up in Portland, Oregon in the United States and recently finished a bachelors degree in California at San Diego State University in Journalism and a minor in International Conflict Resolutions. I have a strong desire to travel the world and leave a positive impact.

I'm an outgoing, happy and overall positive person. I'm not one to complain and can get by in just about any situation.

I like to write, read, take photos, meet new people, surf, snowboard, hike/camp, make art, play guitar/ukulele, and of course, travel. I'll be traveling through Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Indonesia by motorcycle over the next year or two and hope to make some great friends along the way.

Cheers!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love it all, but especially fond of Jack Kerouac and Jack London. Huge fan of music, music festivals, and concerts. Let me know if there is a festival nearby you that is worth a trip!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Napali Trail in Kauai, Hawaii. Definitely the most difficult and most amazing experience I've ever had. It's only a 24 mile round trip but goes up and down large valleys, taking you through amazing views the entire time. At the end you reach a beach that is only accessible by the trail. There are about 50 permanent residents at the beach and everyone was welcoming, friendly, and awesome.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A positive attitude, a willingness to cook - I'm no chef but make a mean fried rice dish, a bit of acoustic guitar jamming, a speedy little motorbike.
