Music is my passion, followed closely by good food and beer. I get along with virtually anyone who is good natured and has a sense of humor.

PHILOSOPHY

Honesty and empathy in all endeavors and vaguely follow the Middle Way as much as possible... but divert wildly in one direction or the other every once in a while to keep the middle in perspective.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted random travelers outside of this site tons of times, but never through it. I made a profile a few years ago and haven't really touched it till just now because I'm starting my life of traveling. I'm sure when I have a place to host from I'll be more than happy to host folks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived what I like to call "home free" for a while a few years ago, so I did a lot of couch surfing. It wasn't super transformative though since I already knew everyone I stayed with.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Toured all over the US in a band. I think those experiences touring are what made me realize I HAVE to travel now.

Worked as a environmental organizer and helped organize a summit on climate change that brought 12,000 young people to Washington DC, demanding our legislators take swift and bold action to drastically cut carbon emissions.
