Travelling around south and east Africa, south and south east Asia and south America. We want to have as many new experiences as possible and learn about different cultures and lifestyles. And of course eat our way round the world.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Chris and my wife Cat and I have taken a year off to travel, see different cultures and meet new people.

When not travelling I'm a nurse and artist and Cat is a physiotherapist. We both love animals. I drink a lot of tea and Cat eats a lot of chocolate.

We're newbies to this recommended by a friend of ours. At the minute as we're travelling were looking to stay with other people but when we're home we would love to host too!

Interests

Independent travel, health, yoga, surfing, climbing, nature, wildlife, food, vintage stuff. I'm very interested in art and Cat is interested in feminism and desserts.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like everything from Bowie to Oasis and Bastille. We pretty much like everything with a beat as long as it's not heavy metal. Cat unashamedly loves Beyonce. I enjoy pop folk like of monsters and men and counting crows. Our home town Manchester is a hub for new music and we enjoy going to small gigs with friends.

We are obsessed with the series breaking bad at the minute.

My last good read was Carter beats the devil by Glen David Gould. Cat loved The Rosie Project by Graeme Simson and her favorite author of the moment is Zadie Smith.
