Originally I'm from Germany but currently living in Waterloo, Canada. I started my PhD at the University of Waterloo in September 2016. My research focuses on sustainability and food systems.

My last major travel was in South America from May-August 2016. I traveled with my partner in Peru and Ecuador.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use CS because it offers an easy way for getting to know people that live in the places that I visit. I personally think, that these encounters are more valuable than just vist a place and have the potential to turn a nice travel experience into an unforgettable one!

Currently I'm traveling in South America (Peru and Ecuador) so I can't host you. However if I'm at home I'll try to host you and I'm happy to show you around.

Interests

I like to do all kinds of outdoor sports (biking, hiking, climbing etc) and try to get into nature as much as possible!

Further, I appreciate good plant-based food. Recently, I got into beer brewing and I can only recommend it - its easy and delicious :)
