ABOUT ME

I'm an ex-tech professional who realized life has more to offer than a desk, a computer, and a 401k package. To say the least, I'm hunting for more meaning out of my life specifically in the realm of work.

I just recently moved to Alajuela, Costa Rica where I'm studying spanish and trying to get involved in an English teaching school.

I'm an honest, sincere person that likes coffee and long conversations. I'm excited to be in this beautiful country and cannot wait to further explore it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed twice in my past and both experiences were fantastic. Most recently was in Knoxville, TN while on a bike trip from Chicago to North Carolina.

I appreciate the community's openness and ability to trust its members with ease. It's an amazing thing when two strangers can meet each other and immediately connect on past experiences and similar lifestyles. I'm on Couchsurfing to continue to have those experiences.

Music:

I play guitar, bass, drums, and a little bit of piano. I love to learn new styles, collaborate, and further my abilities while having a great time. I also love going to live shows! Everything from latin jazz to hardcore punk, I usually 100% down to see live music regardless of its genre.

Language:

I'm attempting to become conversationally fluent in spanish as quickly as possible. So, with that said, learning the Spanish language is my top interest at this point in my life.

750 mile bicycle ride from Chicago, IL to Asheville, NC. I spent ten days on the road camping, staying with strangers, and climbing the smokey mountains. This was easily a life changing experience and I hope to share some of the stories through writing in the future.
