About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Walk some, eat some, and continue on walking.

ABOUT ME

I like being active, whether it be cycling, running, or swimming but I also really enjoy drinking tea in whatever environment. Teaching is one of funnest things I have ever done and I can't wait turn it into a career. I just started to travel and have definitely caught the bug! Food is one of my favourite things in life, talking about it, eating it, cooking it, reading about it.

I am currently studying history, education, and philosophy with only one year left to get my degree. After that, I have absolutely no idea what I will be doing.

PHILOSOPHY

Just do what makes you happy, but respect the other's will. Learn from the bad to experience more of the good.

Interests

Cooking: Italian mostly. But recently some Chinese dishes. I'm not sure if breakfast is a type of cooking, but it is certainly one of my favorites to cook.

I recently started doing triathlons and have fell in love with them. Traveling is also something I am new at, but so far I have had nothing but great experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a pretty big fan of graphic novels. Aside from that, I really enjoy reading anything that is compelling and one can have a conversation over. Michael Pollan books on food culture are some of my favorites.

Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys, and Passion Pit are my staple bands. Movies would be Forest Gump and Star Wars or any of the Pixar films. Superbad, Inception, Rear Window, Kill Bills, Pulp Fiction, Shutter Island, Birds, Food inc, documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove into a banana plantation in Panama which had 100 percent unemployment. Expecting miserable people, our group was only to be greeted with smiles, food, and conversation. I was completely taken aback by the generosity of that town.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am just starting to explore the world, but I am really open to everything! I would love to be able to cook for somebody and share a love for graphic novels, cycling, or going on a hike. Unfortunately, I don't have awesome skills like being able to teach quadruple backflips, but I can teach someone how to make a good cheesecake!
