About Me
ABOUT ME
Somewhat unconventional and quite independent. For example, I do not own or use cell phones. I prefer to ride my bike instead of drive to work. Intelligent and always learning, about people and places. Really enjoy the outdoors and hope that people world-wide decide the planet is worth saving.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Originally heard about it through a colleague who suggested that I look into it before I was taking a trip to Africa. Since I have met people through this venture I have come to discover how genuine, fun and easy going people are who share their way of life and philosophical approach to traveling vis-a-vis Couchsurfing.
Interests
I am usually doing something related to sports. I read volumes of material involving psychosocial aspects of sports and if I am not working or doing research I like to kayak or mountain bike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This would basically include visiting places, like Capital Reef National Park in Utah. The red sandstone buttes and rock formation definitely take one's breath away. A representative experience was seeing a tremendous 200 foot waterfall appear as a function of flash flooding during a heavy rain storm just outside of Arches Nat'l Park. Another example would be seeing the Grand Tetons in Wyoming for the first time, and then skiing the Hobacks on perfect corn snow conditions
