Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Going through my quarterlife crisis
ABOUT ME
After moving out of my ~700 inhabitants village (age 18), I had about 6 very nice years living the student's life in Enschede, The Netherlands. At the final phase, graduation research, I decided to take a risk and do an internship abroad. Luckily, the RMIT Uni in Melbourne could offer me a cool research internship position (on Antarctic environmental sustainability & user interface design). After this, I graduated as Master of Science in Industrial Design Engineering. I currently live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
As much as I like doing things on my own and enriching my brain... I discovered that sharing happiness, interests and experiences with others truly are the best things on earth.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a progressive, liberal and open-minded person. Developing my perception of the world (through films, documentaries, books, seminars, articles, talks and experiences) is my life's goal.
Paradigm shifts (i.e. significantly changing some part of my perception/view on the world, people, etc.) are essentially my ultimate rewards.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I'd like to meet local people, have good talks and learn about them and their environment.
Intereses
My interests are: cinema & documentaries, books, making music, science, technology & philosophy, psychology and people. And based on practicing my interests I simply love the resulting good talks about them.
I'm considerate, optionally very talkative, mostly calm and easy going, but with a secret love for acting crazy and bursting out...given the right time & place (e.g. good parties and wacky festivals) of course. :)

Música, películas y libros
Too many to enlist here. I'm crazy for documentaries and especially cinema (from arthouse to blockbuster, any language, just about every genre). I've seen many and many have influenced me.
I'm reading lots of books (again) and music has always been a motivational and supportive factor in my life. From (classic) rock to pumping electro, soothing piano music to emotional film scores, I love it all.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Daring to do stuff I normally wouldn't do. That has been my 'most amazing thing'. Exactly which things those have been, I might tell you in a personal conversation.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I know a lot about many little things. My study-related knowledge is on environmental sustainability, product development (and creative problem solving) and the ethical influence of technology on our lives. I find such subjects very interesting and will share my knowledge if you're interested.
Besides these subjects, many scientific facts are in my system, even on psychology and behavioural subjects. I'm not sure about my practical skills though, that's something I still have to find out about myself.
