ABOUT ME

We are an international couple living in Vienna. Lisa is from San Francisco (USA) and Chris is from a small town near Linz (Austria). We met in Bali (2006) and now we live together in Vienna. Chris is working in social work with troubled youth and Lisa teaches social work courses at the FH Campus Wien. We made our first experience with Couchsurfing in Tanzania and met great people to hang out with. We both love travelling (especially to India!) and can't wait to meet more international people.

Due to family visiting or travel out of Austria, we are not able to host during the following times this year (2012):
March 28 - April 24
May 25 - June 17

FYI: We have 2 lovely cats!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are providing our couch for people who are interested in basic socializing and having an intercultural exchange (rather than just having a couch to crash on!). Also we are interested in showing people around Vienna and going out for coffee or drinks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

LISA: Studying in Sydney - Australia / Taking spanish classes and travelling in Guatemala / other travels to Asia - India / Volunteering in Dar es Salaam - Tanzania / Burning Man ;-) / Working with homeless people in San Francisco with mental health issues
